The wisteria
The white wisteria over the terrace was already here in 2016, before us.
Today the tables stand beneath its branches, on the water.
Giacomo’s osteria, on the lakefront in Morcote
Osteria La Terrazza sul Lago is on the lakefront in Morcote, at Riveta da la Tor. Since 2020 it has been Giacomo’s, host and cook: Southern Italian cooking, on the water, under the white wisteria.

Since 2020 the osteria has been Giacomo Tundo’s; he signs himself “Host & Cook”.
In March that year, replying to a guest, he wrote:

From the first months the menu has looked south: orecchiette in 2020, today truffle carbonara and cacio e pepe.
